"Project Runway" Juneau Style- A Unique Wearable Art Show
A unique wearable art extravaganza takes place this weekend in Juneau Alaska.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 09, 2010 ) JUNEAU, Alaska- One of the most anticipated annual events in Juneau, Alaska is the Wearable Art Extravaganza. Put on by the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council and now in its 10th year, the 2010 Cirque de Pluie, (Circus of Rain) is a uniquely Alaskan take on Cirque du Soleil (Circus of the Sun). A fashion show of extravagant dresses and costumes made from the most ingenious materials, it pushes the envelope of many of the artists’ creative thinking and abilities.
