Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN) slid 4.11% to $14.71 on 8.64 million shares. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $15.45 and $14.22 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 15%. Lennar Corporation is a homebuilder and a provider of financial services. M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:MDC) sell off 4.48% to $33.06 on 2.22 million shares after the company posted a profit in the fourth quarter, helped by an income tax benefit. The company posted fourth-quarter net income of $127.2 million, or $2.68 a share, compared with a net loss of $89.0 million, or $1.92 a share, a year earlier. The company said net orders rose 82 percent to 637 homes in the quarter, with backlog increasing 55 percent to 826 homes at Dec. 31.
