Dallas, Tx - Thursday, most of the big energy stocks fell sharply after Crude plunged over 5% largely reacted to higher U.S. unemployment claims.
Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) slid over 2% to $65.20 on high volume.

ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) fell over 3.60% to $48.16.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) dropped 2% to $71.61 on higher than the average volume. In the last one month the stock has slid over 11%.

BP plc (ADR) ( NYSE:BP) also lost 2.67% to $53.48 despite HSBC Securities upgraded the stock to Overweight from Neutral.
