AOL, Inc. (NYSE:AOL) jumped 2.35% to $25.23 after the company reported earnings of $1.4 million, or a penny a share, compared to a loss of about $2 billion, or $18.52 a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue declined 17% to $809.7 million from $974.2 million, well above the street’s estimates of $ $709 million.

Some other technology stocks which were in action are:
Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) rose 1.83% to $540.82, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) also jumped 1.72% and close marginally less than $200.

Research In Motion Limited (USA) (NASDAQ:RIMM) closed with a gain of 3.40% to $67.86 on high volume.

Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) also jumped over 2% to $6.69.
