(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 18, 2017 ) The automotive surround view system is an emerging automotive ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) technology that assist in low speed vehicle manoeuvres such as while parking the vehicle or slow curb side driving. The system helps the driver by allowing him/her to see a top-down view of the 360-degree surroundings of the vehicle. It normal consists of 4 to 6 wide-angle cameras known as fish-eye cameras, mounted around the vehicle, with each facing a different location. From the camera inputs, a composite view of the surroundings of the vehicle is synthesized and shown in a real-time basis as a high quality image display in vehicle.
