First Annual Grants for Success Awardees Announced by SignARama of Vermont
SignARama’s Grants for Success program has awarded sign services to 20 Vermont non-profits to help make up for the drop in donations many of them experienced in 2009.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 19, 2010 ) South Burlington, VT – Twenty Vermont non-profit organizations have been named recipients of SignARama’s Grants for Success sign award program for 2010. Throughout the year, these organizations will acquire sign- and graphic-based marketing tools to help them meet their goals for visibility and outreach to better serve their constituencies.
Award recipients are:
American Red Cross, Bristol Family Center, Committee on Temporary Shelter, Jericho-Underhill Land Trust, Meals on Wheels of Lamoille County, Michaud Manor, Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Gardening Association, Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, Smart Growth Vermont, Town of Jay Focus Group, Travis Roy Foundation, United Way, Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, Vermont Works for Women, Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, Williston Community Food Shelf, and Women’s Rape Crisis Center.
Grants for Success is a sign award program presented by SignARama, a custom sign and graphics company located in South Burlington. SignARama will provide signage marketing tools at low or no cost to help each non-profit market their location, advertise fundraising events, and showcase their missions and events with displays, retractable banners, vehicle graphics or vehicle wraps and more, tailored to each non-profit’s needs.
“Both signs we requested will be a core element of our new brand as we increase awareness of the important work we do to feed our state’s hungry children,” remarks Maisie Howard, Development Director, The Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger.
“A new sign will help us with our outreach and to alert the community to our location. It will help to increase participation at our meal sites. By having a new, professional sign, it will make our location more approachable,” comments Brynn M.Evans, Meals on Wheels of Lamoille County, Inc.
The Grants for Success program was created in 2009 during the height of the recession that heavily impacted many Vermont non-profits who depend on donations for their operating funds.
