Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) was one of the top movers in today’s trading session. The stock opened with a small gain and moved up smartly as the progresses and finally closed at $16.31, up 4.23%. Today, analysts at Janney Montgomery Scott made some bullish comments on the casino operator. JMS boosted its price target on Las Vegas Sands' stock price from $11 to $15. JMS said it "came away believing that there could be significant upside to our estimates in Macau", but also noted caution on near-term estimates for Singapore. For the Vegas market, JMS said it expects to see "continued difficult operating conditions" and would not anticipate any meaningful improvements in results until 2011 "at the earliest."
MGM MIRAGE (NYSE:MGM) also moved up 5.96% to $10.66. In the last six months, the stock has jumped up over 47%. MGM MIRAGE is engaged in gaming and resort operations. The Company owns and operates casino resorts, which includes offering gaming, hotel, dining, entertainment, retail and other resort amenities.
Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ:WYNN) rose 2.92% to $63.80 on 2.12 million shares. So far this year, the stock has rallied over 50%. Wynn Resorts, Limited (Wynn Resorts) is a developer, owner and operator of destination casino resorts.
