After rising above over 800 other contestants in OurStage.com’s Rock channel, “Bring You Back” by State Your Cause goes on to win first place in the $5,000 Grand Finals, ultimately outranking 20,000 other musical submissions

It’s a song about someone close to me, and a lot of our fans tell us that it relates to someone in their life who’s struggling. For this song to win at OurStage…man, we’re just blown away. If it inspires one person to take that long hard look in the mirror, we can’t ask for anything more.”
Yet more is what they got. 24 hours later, Bring You Back topped the charts in the Grand Finals, earning first place in the fan-judged competition over finalists from 35 music channels, and winning the SYC guys $5,000 in cash.
Led by James Scott on lead vocals, SYC is made up of Deepan Rajah on Lead Guitar, John Scott on Rhythm Guitar, Danny Zeid on bass, and Matt Young on drums. The single “Bring You Back” was produced by award-winning producer Ben Schigel (Drowning Pool, Switched, Walls of Jericho).
