For the three months ended September 30, 2009, revenues totaled $91.1 million, which was comprised of $79.8 million from sales of ethanol and $11.3 million from sales of distiller’s grain. Net loss attributable to common shareholders was $6.2 million, or $.26 a share, for the three months ended September 30, 2009. The net loss for the three months ended September 30, 2009 was $8.4 million, which included $2.2 million of losses attributable to non controlling interests.
GeoMet, Inc. (NASDAQ:GMET) declined 21.21% to $1.56 on 792K shares after the company today announced its financial and operating results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. For the quarter ended September 30, 2009, GeoMet reported a net loss of $48.3 million, or a loss of $1.24 per fully diluted share. Included in the net loss was a $69.1 million, or $1.77 per fully diluted share, pre-tax, non-cash impairment to the Company's natural gas properties and a $3.6 million, or $0.09 per fully diluted share, pre-tax, non-cash, mark-to-market loss on derivative contracts.
Puda Coal, Inc (AMEX:PUDA) went down 10.14% to $6.29 after the company reported a third-quarter net loss of US$621 thousand or US$0.04 per share compared to profit of US$6.54 million or US$0.43 per share last year. Comprehensive loss was US$663 thousand compared to profit of US$7.02 million last year. Adjusted net income decreased to US$2.82 million or US$0.18 per share from US$6.42 million or US$0.42 per share last year. Net revenue decreased to US$56.11 million from US$74.05 million last year.
