(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 13, 2009 ) Dallas, TX - The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW) climbed up over 7.08% to $28.60 on a volume of 23.21 million shares after Dow AgroSciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont announced that they have entered into a commercial cross-licensing agreement that will enable the two companies to deliver expanded herbicide-tolerant soybean options to farmers in the next decade. Under the agreement, Dow AgroSciences is licensing non-exclusively its herbicide tolerant trait technology for soybeans to DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred.

North American Palladium Ltd. (AMEX:PAL) soared 3.28% to $2.83 on over 1.69 million shares. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $2.92 and $2.79 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 2%. North American Palladium Ltd. is in the business of exploring and mining Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) and certain base and precious metals. (AMEX:GGR) went up 5.42% to $1.75 after the company announced yesterday that all signatures for the approval of the Field Development Plan for the Deen Dayal West Gas Field in the KG-OSN-2001/3 exploration block have been obtained. As previously reported on June 18, 2009, GSPC submitted the Deen Dayal West Field Development Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Production Sharing Contract to the Management Committee including the Government of India for approval.
