PowerShares DB Silver Fund (the Fund) is a separate series of PowerShares DB Multi-Sector Commodity Trust (the Trust), a Delaware statutory trust organized in seven separate series, and its subsidiary, DB Silver Master Fund (the Master Fund), a separate series of DB Multi-Sector Commodity Master Trust (the Master Trust), a Delaware statutory trust organized in seven separate series, which were formed on August 3, 2006. DB Commodity Services LLC (DBCS) funded both the Fund and the Master Fund.

iShares Silver Trust (ETF) (NYSE:SLV) climbed 5.07% to $16.98 on rising silver prices. So far this year SLV is up over 50%. iShares Silver Trust (the Trust) is a grantor trust. The purpose of the Trust is to own silver transferred to the Trust in exchange for shares issued by the Trust.
