(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 13, 2009 ) Los Angeles, CA - MXL Microphones, the professional audio division of Marshall Electronics, has officially launched their “Trade It Up” promotional event, a cash-incentive program aimed at getting MXL customers into authorized MXL retailers. From October 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009, MXL customers who bring in their used MXL microphone (working or not) can receive a $50 instant credit towards the company’s popular studio recording microphones.

“This is a win-win for dealers and consumers,” says Jim Mona National Sales Manager, MXL Pro Audio Division. “Trade It Up runs at no cost to dealers and gives customers who may be waiting on the sidelines incentive to upgrade.”

According to MXL, customers can turn in any MXL microphone in any condition and receive an instant credit for $50 on the purchase of a MXL Gold 35, V67i Tube, V69XM, V89, or MXL R77. Participating MXL dealers will receive a credit for each consumer trade-in, and MXL will cover shipping costs of all returned mics.

The MXL Trade It Up promotion will end on December 31, 2009 and is valid only at authorized MXL retailers. Consumers are limited to one $50 instant credit per trade in but can trade in more than one mic for additional purchases. MXL is encouraging customers to verify participation by contacting their local MXL retailer.
