Boulder, Colorado – Defending Ironman Triathlon World Champion, Craig Alexander, has arrived in Kona, Hawaii in preparation to defend his crown at the Ironman Hawaii on October 10. The man known as Crowie, is allowing fans to get inside access to his private life through a free iPhone application concept called BACKSTAGE. Athletes, Celebrities, or high-profile personalities can customize their own BACKSTAGE iPhone apps and post behind the scenes videos, photos, and thoughts seamlessly from their mobile phones.

The BACKSTAGE: Crowie app takes full advantage of the new iPhone 3Gs hardware such as the remarkably clear video camera. “This is like twitter meets reality TV,” said Franko Vatterott of the Human Interest Group, Alexander’s management company that conceptualized BACKSTAGE. “Crowie can capture spur of the moment thoughts so easily with his iPhone.
