Sara Ivanhoe Brings the "Nature of Yoga" to Morgan's Rock
Popular yoga practitioner from LA conducts 6 day program from her Yoga on the Edge series
(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 14, 2009 ) OCOTAL BEACH, NICARAGUA—Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge in Nicaragua, one of Latin America’s most recognized and respected eco-tourism operations, will host Sara Ivanhoe, one of Los Angeles’ most recognized and well-regarded Yoga Instructors, from August 10 to 16, 2009.
Entitled “Yoga on the Edge,” this retreat will provide two daily sessions of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Mudra and Mantra to help participants journey deeper into self awareness. She is well-known for her many TV and DVD appearances and has just produced a new video series of her Yoga on the Edge program shot in the Bahamas. Organized by Adrienne Ward, Founder of BigWorldSmallPlanet retreats, Ivanhoe is an integral part of the popular summer retreat program which has been extended through November.
The retreat will be conducted in the dedicated Yoga Pavilion, located on Morgan’s Rock’s pristine Ocotal Beach, surrounded by a unique 4500 acre protected primary dry forest environment that comprises the resort, providing the ideal setting for yoga and meditative retreat experiences.
The daily program will cover 6-days of yoga combined with cultural experiences with time for relaxing by the pool or beach. This program, which includes transfers from Managua, all meals, daily classes and taxes will also include a massage, visits to local cultural and educational experiences plus an evening of Tapas with Sangria , costs $2650 (sgle), $2395 per person (dble).
Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge features fifteen hand-detailed private bungalows made of exotic tropical hardwoods with decks open to spectacular views of the ocean and forest and feature a king-size bed, a sofa bed, hammocks and an open-air shower. The restaurant, which features all local produce grown on the resort’s farm and fish caught by its own boats, overlooks a beautiful pool and the Pacific beyond.
