(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 09, 2009 ) Detroit, MI – Mark Maupin, college instructor teaching internet marketing and real estate courses recently began teaching a 5-week summer internet marketing class. He has received calls and emails from hundreds of people who wish they would have signed up. “I’m sorry to say the class has already began and it is full; however, we are video taping the class to produce a product that people can purchase,” said Mark.

Mark recently announced a contest which allows the opportunity for someone to win a free copy of the video. Mark explained, “I’m asking the public to submit an internet marketing tip or idea to me by email. All ideas are welcome, including good sites to submit articles or classified ads, unique social networking sites or any other ideas they may have. Enter as many times as you like with one idea per entry; all entries must be received by August 11th. The winner will be chosen by members of The Internet Marketing Roundtable on August 13th.”

The Internet Marketing Roundtable is a club that meets the 2nd Thursday of each month; it is separate from the Summer Internet Marketing Class mentioned above. The club is open to the public and there is no need to pre-register. Just show up and sign in at the registration table to learn and network with other business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to discuss internet marketing.

The Internet Marketing Roundtable is one of the fastest growing clubs in Detroit. A different topic is discussed each month as the group learns how to market their business and services on the internet without paying a fortune in advertising expenses. “Most of the techniques we use are free,” said Mark. “Students are building their customer base as they drive tons of traffic to their website and advertise their services. Some of my students don’t even have a website and they have managed to expand their business and triple their client base.”

The contest entries will be reviewed by the Internet Marketing Roundtable on Thursday, August 13th. Members will vote on the best tip submitted and the winner will receive a video of the Summer Internet Marketing Class.
