CONGRESS TRYING TO THE SHUT DOWN PET STORES WITH HR-669
"The Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act" HR-669 is before the Subcommittee on Insular Affairs, Oceans and Wildlife in the United States Congress. This bill would effectively make it illegal to own, sell, or breed aquarium fish, birds, reptiles.

Any company selling product or services for pet fish, birds, reptiles or small mammals will be banned from doing so by this bill. Over 8,000 stores in the US would lose a significant part of their sales and in a lot of cases would have to shut their doors”, said company president Rhett Power.
