Open House to be held at the Wash House Gift Shop in West Okoboji
Spring has arrived and the Wash House gift shop in West Okoboji, Iowa, is hosting it's Spring Open House April 1st through April 4th, 2009.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 29, 2009 ) West Okoboji, IA -- The public is invited to a Spring Open House at The Wash House gift shop. The celebration begins on Wednesday April 1st and continues to Saturday April 4th. There will be wine tasting, new products showcased and lots of shopping surprises.
The gift shop is one of the few in the Okoboji area that have been selected to carry copies of the Iowa Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers Association's new cookbook, "Discover Iowa: Cooking with Iowa Wines, Meats and other Iowa Products." The shop even has signed copies for sale by the author Amelia Painter.
One of the featured attractions at the Spring Open House will occur on Friday April 3rd from 5 to 8pm: a Wine Tasting by Diane Benjamin from the Little Swan Lake Winery. The public is invited to sample a variety of different wines that evening from the Little Swan Lake Winery. Tasty appetizers will also be served. All wines tasted are carried in the gift shop.
