(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 11, 2002 ) The 2002 North American International Auto Show will officially open to the public on January 11. Through January 20th, consumers and aficionados will be able to get a first hand glimpse of the new vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and others, including:

Dodge M80 Concept Vehicle: The future of compact pickup trucks is bold, versatile, and affordable and with a "just-right" size, "surf-to-snow" capability and authentic "job-rated" Dodge Truck power, the M80 is expected to exceed the needs of tomorrow's compact pick-up truck customer.
Dodge Razor Concept Car: The new Dodge Razor concept sports coupe sprints to 60 mph in less than six seconds, top speed is greater than 140 mph, a six-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive and it has an engine displacement of 2.4 liters.
Jeep(R) Compass Concept Vehicle: The two-door Jeep Compass feels at home in an urban environment while possessing the free spirit of a performance rally car. It offers a great combination of on-road dynamics and off-highway capability.
Jeep Willys2 Concept: Incorporating cutting-edge plastic technology and a lightweight aluminum frame, Willys2 sports modern interpretations of trademark Jeep design cues. Shown by the Chrysler Group in prior concept vehicles, injection-molded plastic bodies save up to 50 percent in manufacturing costs and weight and are nearly 100 percent recyclable.
2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: The Rubicon name isn't just for a Class 10 off-road trail anymore -- it's also what the Jeep(R) brand is calling their ultimate off-road rig. Engineers have designed the most capable Wrangler model ever -- it's engineered to take on the most demanding trails, even those previously reserved for only highly modified vehicles.
2002 Pacifica Concept Vehicle: The all-new 2002 Pacifica concept vehicle slated for production next year, is a sports tourer with the right formula of proportions, packaging, performance and appearance which sets it apart from the competition. It features low step-in height, three rows of seats and car-like handling, making it like no other vehicle on the road.
The Viper-powered Dodge Ram SRT-10: Dodge unveiled the boldest, baddest and fastest full-size pickup, the Viper-powered Dodge Ram SRT-10 show truck. Filling the engine-bay is the largest engine in a factory pickup truck -- the 8.3-liter V-10 that powers the all-new 2003 Dodge Viper.
The Vision GST from Mercedes-Benz: The abbreviation GST stands for "Grand Sports Tourer" and describes an original, new vehicle category which brings together features from established car concepts, combining them to create a new, independent profile: the Vision GST is Saloon, Estate, MPV and Sport Utility Vehicle in one.
