A.C.T. and professional model Lindy Kwock chronicle the most outstanding events of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 14, 2009 ) Henderson, NV -- Kicking-off the start of New York Fashion Week's fall-collection previews was the annual Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection to highlight awareness of heart disease. On the runway, dressed in red, was actresses Hilary Duff, and "90210" stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling. The trio was joined by former Wonder Woman Lynda Carter.
Featuring celebrities of all ages in one-of-a-kind red gowns by famous designers, the annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection encourages women to be screened for heart disease.
While the country may be over saturated with doom and gloom because of the down economy, the celebrities and the audience enjoyed themselves at this very popular annual event.

Lindy Kwock
Lindy first entered the fashion industry over 15 years ago as a runway and fashion/commercial print model in San Francisco, California. With the help of her local agents, Lindy gradually diversified into other markets such as Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Taipei. Traveling and working in other geographic markets gave her the opportunity to utilize her ability to speak five languages, as well as significantly pave the way for her to prove her marketability in the industry not just as model but also as an on-camera talent.
Through the years, Lindy's resume has expanded dramatically to include a wide range of work experience from runway, fashion/commercial print, catalog, and fitness/swimsuit modeling to television commercials, infomercials, and voice-overs.
For the last five years, Kwock has foscused on runway and on-camera coaching, pageant training, personal training, and coaching corporate executives on the art of public speaking, and talent scouting on a nationwide level. Kwock is an alumnus of the University of California at Berkeley, with a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Dramatic Arts/Dance.
Some of her recent projects include: print ads for Sprint, Volvo, Harrah's Casinos, McAffee, and Visa; TV commercials for 24-Hour Fitness and Mike's Hard Lemonade; and fitness editorials for Cooking Light and Health magazines.
