In Sacramento, California OBSNews correspondent Paul Galindo caught up with Colorado businessman and Board Member of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Jerry Natividad to discuss the growing political and economic power of Latinos in America.
Natividad, the President and CEO of American Facilities Maintenance Group (http://www.aflmaingroup.com) based in Denver, Colorado, discussed the fact that there are more than 2.5 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States and said, "Our community is large, wealthy, and growing."
Central to Natividad's perspective is highlighting the importance of setting benchmarks to document the growth and contributions of Latino and Latina businesses.
