More Freedom For Large Dogs, And Their Owners
Australian company introduces convenient and practical dog leash.
That might work well during long walks in the countryside, but as most dog owners have to walk their friend close to civilization, their loving pet has to be on a leash all the time. No exceptions! That's what the law stipulates, regardless of how well behaved the dog might be.
This is why a new product called an Extra Long Dog Leash with Padded Handle, was introduced by an Australian company Quirk & Ferg into the market. They apparently have many big dogs in Australia, and were experiencing the same sort of problems while walking them in city parks.
The name "Extra Long Leash with Padded Handle" sounds like a big mouthful of words, but it says exactly what it is and what it does. Apparently that's how they talk in Australia all the time. Straight to the point.
A padded handle makes the lead much more comfortable for the owner to hold, should the dog be a bit perky and not very obedient. And the generous (more than 8 ft) length of the lead allows the dog an extra freedom to go around their business without having to drag its owner off the trodden path and into the bushes.
These new leads were introduced to the market at a very competitive price, making sure that large dog owners will be able to try them without having to borrow from the bank, or cut down on the amount of food for their best friend.
How long will the introductory price last? Quirk & Ferg doesn't make any promises about that, but in the long run they can't afford to keep on selling them at a loss. In that respect the Australians seem to be in the same boat as the rest of the world.
