The first model is an email model. This is where people pay you a certain amount of money a week, or a month, to receive information. All you need for this system is an autoresponder.

Put an opt-in page that talks about your newsletter. This page will direct the customer to a sales letter which talks about your product. Put another page on the Thank-you page that asks the customer for their information so they can receive your newsletter. These customers will be your new email model customers.

These emails should contain articles, news, jokes and any other information you wish to share with your customers.

You are able to preload emails into your autoresponder ahead of time. If your emails go weekly to your customers, then you can preload 52 emails into the program. Another model for a membership site is a PDF model. This is the same as an email model, only your articles will have pictures. Your PDF should look like a magazine. The articles should be colorful and vibrant, and also have useful information and sidebars.

You can contact freelance writers to outsource your email article writing. Do this by going to the library and all the magazines the relate to the topic you want written about. “Contact the authors of the articles, and offer them the chance to write for your Internet magazine”, advises Matt Bacak. “Tell them they can list their bio with the article.”

Don’t make your PDF look cheap. Most people are accustomed to a certain look of a magazine. You may lose customers if it doesn’t look like a magazine.
