50 Varieties Heirloom Survival Seeds Packaging From HAGA Gets Facelift
HAGA Overhauls The Design And Look Of Their 50 Varieties Heirloom Survival Seeds Packaging To Reflect A Better Image And Improve The Usability Of The Product
The 5 Best Vegetables To Grow Is A Guide To Growing Vegetables Using Heirloom Seeds To Produce The Tastiest Veggies.
"The new facelift was necessary to give a better idea of the contents of our package and to provide a more secure way to store the vegetable seeds for long or short term storage." said Chuck Harmon, CEO. "Many people wanted a way to insure the viability of the seeds at a future date should they be needed in a disaster scenario and we listened to them. The seeds are packaged in a laminated foil bag which also contains a zip lock for resealing them."
"If a person wants to use some of the seeds, they won't have to worry about not being able to reseal the package to prevent moisture and light from affecting the seeds negatively. We have always recommended that our customers use a a re-seal-able glass jar for storing in the freezer or refrigerator because glass is one of the very best containers for shielding their vegetable seeds from the moisture that could compromise them. Mason jars, old cleaned out Spaghetti or Pickle jars are perfect for this because they all have lids that are designed to re-seal when placed back on the jar." Harmon continued.
Laminated foil was chosen, by the company, for the new container because it most nearly does the job that the glass jar does with the added advantage of shielding the survival seeds from light. Inside the laminated foil bag, the seeds are contained in individual, zip lock baggies so that they can be resealed individually before placing them back into the foil bag or a glass jar.
"I love the way this is packaged. All of the seeds have sprouted in my paper towels so I know they are in good condition. Thank you for such a great price and the information to go along with the product his helpful." Jackie, happy customer.
"I was very impressed with all the seeds neatly organized in their own little package and the back of the bag with the list of all of the different seeds." Monika A., happy customer.
