The wholesale defection of white males to the Republican Party is the single biggest factor in the Republican dominance of presidential elections for the past 28 years. Many men already questioned the Obama candidacy when he used a Fathers Day speech to attack fathers. The choice of Biden for veep will cause even greater doubt among men.
Biden is proud of his authorship of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), well-intentioned legislation that has degenerated into taxpayer subsidies for ultra-feminist activists. As a result, VAWA promotes a legal culture in which hundreds of thousands of women have used bogus claims of domestic violence to win custody battles against innocent men, thus depriving children of the love and guidance of their fathers. For instance, a deranged woman in New Mexico had no trouble obtaining a restraining order against television host David Letterman, claiming that he was harassing her with subliminal messages broadcast in his show.
Under Biden’s leadership, arrest and prosecution policies have lurched sharply towards a “men bad, women good” framework. The modern trilogy of mandatory arrest, the primary aggressor doctrine, and “no drop” prosecution policies has trampled the rights of many innocent fathers.
