During session 2 of the Healthy Numbers program released this week by HealthyClip.com, participants will:

Module two of the Healthy Numbers program is designed to build on the self-assessment participants completed in session one, and prepare them to set goals to carry them through the remainder of the program. This 12-week nutrition course was designed by dietitian and weight loss expert, Stephanie Margolis, RD, LD. This program addresses weight loss in addition to disease management such as diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol. Stephanie has spent the past decade helping individuals see success through scientifically-sound weight loss methods. She has worked with people in group and one-on-one counseling environments focusing on behaviors leading to a healthy weight. Stephanie has spent a significant amount of that time creating nutrition and fitness curricula encouraging positive lifestyle changes. All the food they would consume in one day will fit on that plate as carbohydrates, proteins, or fats. Depending on the individual's goals those nutrients are needed by the body in different percentages. This session guides you through the process of creating an individualized healthy plate. Advice on how to properly take supplements like garcinia cambogia is also given.
Additionally, this session overviews good sources of carbohydrates, protein, and fat allowing individuals to identify specific foods they can shop for and place on their daily plate. Just as the food one chooses is vital for health so is the way they hydrate their body; Stephanie discusses how to know you are drinking enough and strategies to increase daily intake.
Beyond the information outlined in this session, participants also receive handouts allowing them to create their own healthy plate, tracker their daily intake, and set goals to improve in these areas.
