Tribute bands perform at benefit concert to raise money for Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit
Royal Oak, Mich. – Three of the best “tribute bands” in the metro Detroit area will perform a benefit concert for Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at The Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens, Mich. Doors open at 7pm.

The BackBeats: Beatles Tribute Show (8:30pm-9:30pm)
Zooropa: A U2 Tribute (9:45pm-10:45pm)
Echoes of Pink Floyd (11pm-Midnight)
Tickets are $10 and are available at The Emerald Theatre box office and through all TicketMaster outlets. Guest speakers and video presentations about Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit will also be shown throughout the show.
Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit is a free, non-residential cancer support community in Royal Oak, Mich. Gilda’s Club is named in honor of the late comedian and former Detroiter Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. Her dream was to create places where people living with cancer and their families and friends could gather to support one another and celebrate life, as no one should have to face cancer alone.
