Home Recording Home Website Gets A Makeover
Site to take the intermediate audio producer to the next level of audio mastery.
Home Recording Home was born out of the frustration of getting good audio for podcasting and videos. While trying to learn the craft of creating great audio, Lee Nolan discovered that there was a lot of information for the absolute beginner, and even more for the very experienced audio producer, but that there was a huge gap in the middle.
The intermediate producer will have some skills already and have a general idea about how to begin recording, but there are a lot of subtleties in the art of recording audio that may have been completely missed. Home Recording Home is designed to fill these gaps, and help take people to the next level.
Recently added to the site is a very long article titled "A guide to recording great vocals for podcasts and music" which covers many different things that a producer needs to understand to get quality sound. Some obvious (like using a pop filter) and some not so obvious - such as creating a relaxed environment.
Inside the free membership the concepts introduced in this long article are expanded on even further, and will take a producer well along the path to creating brilliant audio.
There are big plans for the membership area. Content to be added has been scheduled out for many months, and within the next year Home Recording Home will be the go-to resource for audio production at an amateur level.
