White Post Farms Presents The Most Spectacular Pumpkin Farm In Long Island
At our yearly event, we offer an opportunity to choose from thousands of pumkins.
Some of the highlights this year are the racing piggies. This is one hilarious spectacle where pigs race around a track as the crowd cheers on their favoirte little pig. Both the pigs and the winning team get to feast upon an oreo cookie. The K9 flying dog show is a spectacle, where exotic dogs jump and catch frisbees in mid-air. Meanwhile, the trainer dances and demonstrates his unmistakeable affection for his beloved dogs.
There is a live gameshow where kids can test their knowledge and honk a horn to answer questions. The gameshow host is in good spirits and has a witty sense of humor. The kids are gitty as they answer a series of easy questions. "Who knows what number the legs of a frog times the legs of a centipede equal?", said the host.
The magician show is also quite unique. The magician is dressed like a clown and is quite funny and charming. Wearing a clown costume, he invites the children up on stage and creates a very entertaining show. The magiciain engages the audience in a very exciting way. He has all the children and adults laughing out loud with his sidekick, slimy the snake, who gets paid $5 for a days work.
As one show ends, another begins. A White Post Farm favorite is the Great Stage Show. Every year, the main actor of the play invites the kids to his live birthday party. The kids race to the stage to celebrate. They dance to popular songs like Hands Up and Cotton-eyed Joe.
During the fall season, White Post Farms is one of the top pumpkin farms in Long Island. During the rest of the year, it is also a unique venue for birthday parties. Children are given the opportunity to get up close and personal with farm animals, bunny rabbits and more exotic animals like camels, zebras and monkeys. Children can ride their very own pony, wearing a cowboy hat around the farm or spend time in a bird aviary.
