Riddle & Brantley Reports Driver Charged in Fatal Fayetteville Hit-and-Run
30-Year-Old Driver Intoxicated, Killed Pedestrian, Fled Scene
The driver was 30-year-old Elizabeth Lauren Robinson, and as 55-year-old Cynthia Beasley crossed the intersection of Pamalee and Blanton Road, Robinson’s SUV killed her. Robinson fled immediately but was found on Green Valley Road and later charged with felony hit-and-run, driving while impaired, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The incident remains under investigation although there were no further details at the time of the report.
