O’Connor, Acciani & Levy Report Delaware County Hit-and-Run Kills Track Coach
Students Mourn the Loss of Their Beloved Coach, Honor Him at Recent Meet
Assistant Coach Emily Rizek stressed that the students were not in mourning, but attempting to honor Lennon’s memory as they each wore a picture of him on the back of their uniform during the meet. In addition the runners wore black armbands in remembrance of Lennon, who was said to have been, “probably the most caring person I’ve ever met,” according to Rizek.
Drivers who are involved in hit-and-run crashes are not only risking the life of the person they hit, but they are going to suffer serious legal consequences for leaving the scene of an accident— an act that is illegal in Ohio.
