Shannon & Elm to relaunch Neal Starkman’s “Poison”
Shannon & Elm, an imprint of The Zharmae Publishing Press, will be relaunching and publishing Neal Starkman’s Poison later this fall.
About the Author:
Neal Starkman has been a writer all his life. He’s written or developed novels, short stories,
political essays, educational programs, songs, scripts, books, games, simulations, workshops,
flyers, jokes, slogans, bumper stickers, and even shopping lists. His Ph.D. dissertation explored why many people don’t complain—why they tolerate situations that they think are unfair or otherwise wrong. Neal has written for audiences ranging from kindergarteners to directors of information technology programs to parents to members of organizations of all kinds. Virtually all of his work has focused on making complex issues clear and engaging in an attempt to improve the human condition.
About Shannon & Elm:
Shannon & Elm, an imprint of Zharmae Publishing Press, seeks unpublished writers with
powerful voices who have something compelling to say. We seek to reinvent literary fiction,
sometimes blurring the standard genre lines. We recognize it is the writing that lands a book
in the lit-fiction category, even if the story centers on crime, religion, business, education,
romance, war, or parenting. We seek writing that resonates universally in which the language
itself elevates the reading experience.
“Poison” is set for publication November 7, 2013.
Neal Starkman is available for interviews and appearances. For booking reviews, interviews, and blog tours contact Dana Greer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
