WittyCuisiner Updates Its Facebook Page On Rare Phobia
Some are so afraid of peanut butter and it is not about allergies
The love for the particular spread is not only shown by kids. In 1998 movie, "Meet Joe Black", there was a famous and humorous scene by Brad Pitt, who had never tasted it, expressing his joy of having peanut butter using a large spoon served by kitchen employee.
There have been some health concerns about peanut butter at the same time. It could cause a severe allergic reaction which leads to death and it has been banned in many schools.
There is a phobia related to peanut butter, which is called Arachibutyrophobia, the fear of the spread sticking to the top of the mouth. It is a fictional phobia and used by Charles M. Shultz in his "Peanut" series.
That fake phobia was shared on the Facebook page on WittyCuisiner, which launched its first kitchen products, metal measuring spoons at Amazon.
Evelyn Stewart, the company's spokesperson, says, "On our Facebook page, we enjoy sharing fun facts related to foods. We thought Arachibutyrophobia was a great word to share because it is humorous and shows a creativity by Charles Schultz."
Stewart continues, "We take advantages of social media such as Facebook to reach out as many as fans and potential customers as possible. By having a connection with them, we can get their opinions and feedback so that we can keep improving our services and products."
The image that the company posted include the picture of peanut butter and the definition of fictitious term. It also has the company logo at the bottom lower right corner. Its size is 667 pixels by 500 pixels and the resolution is 72 DPI.
It can be seen at WittyCusiner's Facebook page as well as its other social media pages including Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus.
