YouTube Co-Founders Introduce Mobile Phone Video Production Platform
Youtube creator Chad Hurley says that while Youtube makes it easy to share videos, it has never been able to provide a way for people to create better content.
The program allows users to shoot 16-second clips, already popular among Skype, Vine and Instagram, and then drag and drop as many as 256 of them into a sequence to last up to an hour, with an easier way to edit videos on the mobile phone.
Unlike Instagram or Vine, MixBit will not offer ways to filters or effects, but when uploaded to the website, users will be able to edit videos as they please, and have the option of sharing clips or keeping the entire thing private.
