Free Lunch For All- Cochran Firm Reports on Community Kitchens of Birmingham
The Community Kitchens of Birmingham is dedicated to feeding anyone who is hungry and in need.
The Community Kitchens of Birmingham is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit organization which allow all donations to be tax-deductible. Donations are very much appreciated and volunteers are always welcome.
Support is received by faith-based organizations, schools and universities, corporations, businesses and individuals. The Community Kitchens of Birmingham Board of Directors feel if they can assist individuals and families with food they can focus on meeting the basic needs of their household. Referrals are also provided for individuals to other community agencies that can assist with housing and other needs.
St. Andrews Episcopal Church, located at 1024 South 12th Street, Birmingham, Alabama, serves meals weekdays and Saturdays at noon in the church parish hall. On Sunday, sack lunches are served from the UAB parking lot at 11th Avenue South and 11th Place.
Lunches are also served daily at 12:45 in Grace Episcopal Church’s parish hall located at 5712 1st Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama.
