Developed in 2001, this award celebrates the Human Resources (HR) industry and recognizes those in the HR profession who exemplify outstanding achievement within the local Philadelphia human resources community of approximately 5000 HR professionals.
The Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Award is a joint effort between The HR Association of Southern New Jersey, Chester County Human Resource Association, Delaware SHRM, Greater Valley Forge HR Association, Philadelphia Regional SHRM, and Tri-State HR Management Association chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Awards are given in four categories, determined by company employee size: companies with 1-500 employees; companies with 501-2000 employees; companies with 2001-10000 employees, and companies with 10001+ employees. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 8, 2008 at The Radisson Valley Forge Hotel, in King of Prussia, PA.
