(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 05, 2008 ) The Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Del Mar, San Diego County’s newest hotel, will open March 6. Located in the Torrey Hills area of Del Mar, the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Del Mar includes 80 guest rooms and a 3,200-square-foot grand ballroom, the N.Y. Garden Deli & Cafe, the Great American Grill and Serenity Spa and Salon.

“We put a lot into this hotel that is not normally found at other Hilton Garden Inns,” said Robert A. Rauch, CHA, partner of Hilton Garden Inns San Diego/Del Mar. “Our restaurant is the only restaurant within the Hilton Garden Inn system that is managed by a chef who prepares fresh selections daily.”

Rauch also is introducing a full-service spa and salon on the hotel premises, called Serenity Spa and Salon.

“We want our guests to unwind with a variety of spa packages and treatments, including hair care, nail treatments, waxing, massage, body treatments, facials and specialty services,” added Linda Rauch, who oversees marketing of the hotel and spa. “Our customers are business travelers and their families. They’re tired, and need to feel refreshed after working so hard. They want to be able to stay on the hotel property to receive spa treatments. We have everything they want – from body treatments, a variety of massages, facials, nail and hair care – all in one place.”

The hotel’s 3,200-square-foot ballroom also is available for banquets, meetings, weddings, company parties and other events.

The Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Del Mar is owned by Del Mar Hotels, Inc., a partnership of Joe Simone as president, and Robert Rauch as general partner. Del Mar Hotels, Inc. also owns the Homewood Suites by Hilton Del Mar which includes 120 suites and is adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn San Diego/Del Mar.
