NC State Highway Patrol Investigating Hit and Run Fatality Reports Mike Lewis Attorneys
A man was struck while walking on the side of I-40/85 and remains to be found.
A truck driver did see what he thought to be an accident and contacted police immediately. The highway patrol then found the manís body near the vehicle, which was parked on the shoulder of the interstate.
Police suspect that there will be a significant amount of damage to the front end of the vehicle where the man was struck. Unfortunately, investigators are having a difficult time solving this case as they do not have a make, model or description of the vehicle or driver.
If anyone has any information about this incident, contact NC State Highway Patrol Troop D office immediately.
