(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 16, 2013 ) MOBILE AL – Earlier this week an accident occurred on South Interstate 65 between interstate 10 and Government Street, leaving one man dead. While a second accident near the Moffett Road exit left two passengers injured.

The first accident, which occurred around 6:15 a.m. and left a section of I-65 closed for multiple hours. Reports say that the man was involved in an accident and tried to walk across the interstate to check on the other driver, when he was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.

The second accident took place around 8:40 a.m. and involved two automobiles. Both passengers in this accident sustained minor injuries. This accident would again cause backups to Interstate 65 shortly after the first accident had occurred.

No charges were filed in either of the accidents. Individuals who have been injured during an automobile accident may be eligible to receive financial and legal recourse.
