This appliance repair training convention is an industry event presented by the United Servicers Association (USA). This was the fourth annual ASTI and it has grown in attendance to more than 600 independent retail and service business operators, technicians and educators. The 2013 ASTI presented more than 120 hours of training for attendees.
James Dolbeare and two others gave a presentation at the 2013 ASTI about the impact of generational differences and how the generations can work together. This topic has applications for a company's staff of employees, building relationships with suppliers, and with building short and long term relationships with customers. This topic provided information to help attendees improve their appliance business beyond the technical and marketing aspects normally thought of.
