Theatrical installment to be released prior to series release
The leading toy maker Tomy Co. is set to release related toys that will correspond with the release of the show.
Music company Avex Entertainment Inc. will be providing the series with a theme song, while the Shogakukan Inc.’s Terebi-kun magazine will be featuring the manga version for the up-and-coming animated series.
The show is an unusual Chinese animated series that utilizes a new dynamic of multimedia in its approach.
The 30-minute series will hold 26 episodes of action-adventure, and is set in the year 2100. The story follows the story of super-speed trains equipped with artificial intelligence.
The full-CG anime series was produced by the Jiangsu cCarloon Film and Animation Media Co, both of which are part of the parent company Changzhou broadcasting group. The parent company is based in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, and will be broadcast with the help of TV Tokyo and other affiliated entities.
There is also a theatrical version that will be released this year, before the television series airs in Japan. The owning studio is eager to export the anime within the United States and Europe.
