For the people close to it, “it’s pretty dangerous, especially for photographers who are reporting what they’re seeing,” says an insider. In many countries, this is probably one of the most dangerous jobs, but this website is doing what they can to create a photographic diary - effectively putting themselves in harm’s way just to get a shot. Their team is snapping shots and putting them on their new website, one that’s promising to give an unbiased look at violence in many developed nations.

The creator, a rather unassuming individual, had this to say of his mission, “I never thought of myself as tough, so I don’t really know how I’m able to get shots of this caliber. Often times, I’m - more or less - ordered to take pictures by the criminals openly committing crimes. I may have a penchant for danger, but I really hope that people are actually enjoying what they’re getting here. You can’t trust the news media to get a lot of these shots, so I’m doing what I can to bring a lot of this stuff to light. I hope that I can continue doing this, but it’s pretty rough. You never know what can happen.”

The creators of the website are currently looking into other locations, but they say that they’re finding it pretty easy to get what they’re looking for not too far away from their own homes, which is assuredly troubling news for some.
