The 2013 ASTI Schedule of Events has been Posted on the United Servicers Association Site

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 17, 2013 ) Orlando FL – The schedule of events for the 21st annual Appliance Service Training Institute has been posted on the USA website. The four day event takes place Wednesday, March 6 thru Saturday, March 9. A bonus pre-show event on Tuesday, March 5 will also be offered free of charge. Participants will have their choice of attending a full-day class on Basic Electrical Troubleshooting or Refrigeration Systems from the Ground up.
The appliance repair training convention begins on March 6th with breakfast at 7:00 am in the Coronado Ballroom followed by classes including:
• Setting Service all Rates Based on Cost of Doing Business – Learn how to calculate the hourly cost of running a service business and how to use the USA’s CODB calculator to determine rates based on technician wages, overhead and company efficiency.
• Building a Mission Statement – to set the attitude of employees and define the products and service it delivers.
• Transitioning form Truck to Office – new management skills required to manage a company with more than one service technician. Listen to the success stories of two USA members who grew their companies to multiple technicians. Explore the pros and cons of growth and the pitfalls to avoid.
• Service Focus Group – Join representatives of the ServiceBench team to explore exciting features of the platform and learn new functionality by asking questions of the knowledgeable hosts.
